Rescue Story, Sunday Song

Here’s a song for anyone who needs rescuing.  That would be me, frequently…I get back on my feet and draw a peaceful breath, and boom, there’s another challenge to meet.

I’m grateful that God never tires of picking me up and dusting me off…He’s never impatient, never says, “grow up, already!”  Nope, He’s the Good Good Father, ever patient and kind.  So I celebrate Him today, exalt and magnify the Name of JESUS…the Name that’s Above Every Name*, within which is God’s Love & Mighty Power.

May you feel God’s Presence today, may He strengthen you for the journey; and may His blessings to you be so Abundant as to overflow your cup. Rhen

*“Who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in human likeness.  And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death—even death on a cross. Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name above all names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth”…Philippians 2:6-10, Berean Study Bible
