Forgotten Prayers

Not lost, discarded

God records ‘forgotten prayers’

Buried bitter-deep

By weary disappointed

Heart…dry bones await stirring*

*“The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest. Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live: And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.” Ezekiel 37:1-6, King James Bible

    1. Thank you for your compliments, Joni. I’m expecting a good 3-day weekend 🙂 I just heard that churches will now be open again, as essential places people need to go to. Did you have a small party for Scott’s b’day? Wishing you both a glad Sabbath tomorrow ❤ Many blessings ❤

      1. You are so sweet Rhen. We actually went out to dinner. They only took half reservations and everything was very safe. I wrote him a poem and bought him his favorite cake. We had a nice time. Thank you for thinking of us. Your so thoughtful Rhen. I love you sis. Have a blessed Sabbath. 🌺🌸😘❤️🙏

        1. Oh how wonderful, to be able to go out to dinner!! And I’m certain your poem for him was better than gold! What did you order from the menu, and what kind of cake does he like? I made a small spice cake–low sugar/no frosting, it’s pretty good; but I have a choc cake recipe I really want to make–to celebrate getting on my treadmill, hahahaha!! Much, much love to you both ❤
