Daily Light #13 ~ The Lord My Shelter

Daily Light #12 ~ Palm Sunday

“My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings.  Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.” Proverbs 4:20-22, New King James Version


This took place to fulfill the prophecy that said, “Tell the people of Jerusalem, ‘Look, your King is coming to you. He is humble, riding on a donkey— riding on a donkey’s colt.’”… They brought the donkey and the colt to him and threw their garments over the colt, and he sat on it… Most of the crowd spread their garments on the road ahead of him, and others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.  Jesus was in the center of the procession, and the people all around him were shouting, “Praise God for the Son of David! Daily Light #11 ~ Miracle of Plenty

“Jesus said, ‘You feed them’…But we have only five loaves of bread and two fish,’ they answered… Jesus replied, ‘Tell them to sit down in groups of about fifty each’.  So the people sat down.  Jesus took the five loaves and two fish, looked up toward heaven, and blessed them.  Then, breaking the loaves into pieces, he kept giving the bread and fish to the disciples so they could distribute it to the people.  They all ate as much as they wanted, and afterward, the disciples picked up twelve baskets of leftovers!” Luke 9:13-17, New Living Translation

Daily Light #9 ~ Cling to God

“For the Lord your God is the God of gods and Lord of lords.  He is the great God, the mighty and awesome God, who shows no partiality and cannot be bribed.  He ensures that orphans and widows receive justice.  He shows love to the foreigners living among you and gives them food and clothing… v 20, You must fear the Lord your God and worship him and cling to him Your oaths must be in his name alone.  He alone is your God, the only one who is worthy of your praise, the one who has done these mighty miracles…” Deuteronomy 10:17-18, 20-21, New Living Translation

Daily Light #8 ~ God’s Unfailing Love

“Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God.  He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.”  Deuteronomy 7:9, New Living Translation

Daily Light #7 ~ God Who Saves!
