Daily Light

New feature!  During this trying time when, all over the world, we feel an increased lack of control over our circumstances…anxieties regarding our health, families, resources, income, etc…my goal is to bring a word of hope and encouragement.

Since my source of those assets is the Lord God of the Christian faith, I will largely be posting Bible scripture verses (from various Bible translations/versions).  This is my “full disclosure”, as I realize my beliefs are not shared by all who read my blog.

The verse which prompted me to launch this daily feature comes from Deuteronomy 4:11-12 (New Living Translation*):

“The mountain was shrouded in black clouds and deep darkness.  And the Lord spoke to you from the heart of the fire.  You heard the sound of His words but didn’t see His form; there was only a voice.”

So, due respect is extended to everyone, and I’ll not be offended if you wish to skip these “Daily Light” posts I’m planning—though I hope you’ll continue to read and enjoy my poetry and other features😉

*Today’s Daily Light:

Deuteronomy 4:7, “The Lord our God is near to us whenever we call on him~”

Luke 7:27, ‘Look, I am sending my messenger ahead of you, and he will prepare your way before you.’

Psalm 68:19-20, “Praise the Lord; praise God our savior!  For each day He carries us in His arms.  Our God is a God who saves!  The Sovereign Lord rescues us from death.”

Verse 28, “Summon your might, O God.  Display your power, O God, as You have in the past.”

Verse 34-35, “His strength is mighty in the heavens…God is awesome in His sanctuary.  The God of Israel gives power and strength to His people.”

Proverbs 29:30, “The seeds of good deeds become a tree of life~”
